Christie Tabac - Adjustable Gastric Banding

This has changed my life. I wish I had known about this operation 10 years ago
as it has been one of the greatest things ever to happen to me. I am a new person. It has ultimately changed my life for the better, both physically and mentally.

Within 5 months of having this procedure done I finally got to swim with my kids
at Christmas, feeling confidant in myself to wear togs. For my youngest on her
12th birthday I went with her on a 5 hour horse trek, sharing the moment of her first time on a horse. For my eldest sons 16th I danced onstage in front of 60
people as a band played. It gave me the confidence which landed me the biggest landscape job I have ever undertaken. These are only a few of the biggest highlights I have had. But even little things like going shopping with my daughter, socializing with friends, not being afraid to walk into a room full of people any
more, meeting new people and just feeling good and fit make it so worth while. I never feel hungry and still really enjoy cooking for friends and family.

The only part of this whole experience I actually found a little hard were the two weeks of strict diet before the operation and the week following. This was while I was a little sore and running around with kids and work. But that is all minor compared to the results and success I have had.

A great experience which I highly recommend to anyone even thinking about it.
